Summer “Olympics” themed Picnic

Sunday, July 30 from 4 – 6:30 p.m. at Eisenhower Park, 4300 E Dartmouth Ave, Denver (~I-25, Hampden to Colorado Blvd). Attendees will compete against each other in a variety of games. Call your sisters! Friends and family are welcome. Bring a side dish to share. Store purchased food is fine. BYOB – 3.2 beer allowed (no glass). Girls on the Run – Finish Line Volunteers needed!

We need 15 volunteers on Saturday, May 13 starting at ~7:45 am to the end of race to pass out water and bananas at the finish line at Cherry Creek High School.  RSVP by Wednesday, May 3rd to Leigh Ann Kudloff at lkudloff@comcast.net or 303-986-5073. Don’t sign up on the GOTR website.

DAC Co-Presidents elected; Theta Sr Celebration & Officer Installation 5/22

Congratulations to the elected DAC Co-Presidents, Kris Walker and Judy Lacy! Volunteers – Do you qualify for an award?

Have you helped an alumnae or collegiate chapter for 15 years? Or, International Gamma Phi Beta for 5-7 years? Service includes helping at recruitment, or planning an event, speaking at an event, being on House Board, Advisory Board, Alumnae Chapter Officer, Volunteer Leader, or more? Please send nominee suggestions (or nominate yourself) by March 28th to Leanne Thompson at lthompson_gpb@hotmail.com or 303-989-2762. Nominations are due April 1st. International Dues need to be paid for the year of service to count.
– Merit Roll – Minimum of 15 years of service at the local level
– Service Roll – Minimum of 15 years of service with a minimum of 5 years at the international level and 5 years or more of financial support
– Loyalty Award – Minimum of 7 years of international service and 7 years or more of financial support
Think back to any years of service and let me know if you qualify.  I look forward to nominating you!

Gamma Phi Gets Fit – Lucky Strike Bowling at Pavilions

Join us for bowling on Sunday, March 5th at 3:00 p.m. at Lucky Strike Bowling at the Denver Pavilions, 500 16th St, Denver (303-629-9090). Gamma Phis, family and friends are invited. Cost: $3 bowling/game, $1 shoe rental. We will bowl two games because it will take us one game to warm up. Chapter Challenge

The annual Chapter Challenge is February 13-21!  Members and friends can honor any collegiate chapter with a gift of $18.74 or more to support the Sorority’s areas of greatest need.  The collegiate chapter with the most funds raised will win bragging rights and have a $500 donation given to Girls on the Run International in their chapter’s honor.  https://www.gammaphibeta.org/foundation/donatenow
