Mystery Wine Tasting Fundraiser-Feb.23

At this fun party, each attendee or couple will bring any bottle of Pinot Grigio wine in a paper bag to hide the label.  We taste all the wines and vote to determine the best one.  A prize will be awarded for the best wine!  Appetizers will be provided.  Join us on Saturday, February 23rd at 7 p.m. at Cheryl Haskell’s home, 1193 S Allison St, Lakewood (~Wadsworth and Mississippi).  Cost: $15.  All Gamma Phis, significant other, and friends are welcome!  Maximum of 12 attendees.  Funds raised will be split equally between Girls on the Run of the Rockies and Gates Camp for Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver.  Hostesses: Cheryl Haskell, Peggy Hutchinson, and Leanne Thompson.  RSVP to Cheryl Haskell at cheryl_haskell@msn.com or 303-507-6132.  Hope you can join us!

Gates Camp Spring Cleaning Work Day

Join us for our annual spring cleaning work day at the Gates Camp for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver. Usually, we clean the kitchen and do other chores. The camp director has great tasks for the guys that attend (usually involving power tools).
Saturday, May 19 from about 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please come help for as long as you can!
Ward, Colorado (45 minutes from Boulder)
All Gamma Phi Betas, families, and friends including guys are invited!

Building Strong Girls – Last 2 Tutu Making Sessions!

We are making tutus for Girls on the Run (GOTR) participants.
– Friday, April 13 at 5:00 p.m. Celebrate Friday the 13th making tutus!
– Sunday, April 15 at 1:00 p.m.

Gamma Phis and friends welcome. Arrive and leave when you need to. No experience is necessary as tulle is folded and wrapped around an elastic band. Tulle (on rolls) or monetary donations welcome. Tutu Making (Philanthropy) – Date and Time change!

We are making tutus for Girls on the Run on Wednesday, March 28th instead of Thursday. Leigh Ann will provide appetizers, dinner and adult beverages. She plans to make tutus all day. Come when it works for you! It would be great to get at least 20 tutus made that day.

Denver Area Panhellenic (DAP) Leadership Summit

Summit will be run TEDx style format. There are five amazing speakers. Join the Greek women in our community to learn about leadership topics that will be applicable within each of our different organizations, professional, and personal lives.

Cost: $20 in advance; $25 day of the event/at the door; beverages and light lunch included (all proceeds benefit the Scholarship Fund)

Building Strong Girls – Tutu Making (Philanthropy) – 3/2, 3/7, 3/29

We are making tutus for Girls on the Run (GOTR) participants. Arrive and leave when you need to. No experience is necessary. Can you join in the fun at least once a month?
– Friday, March 2nd, at 5:30 pm. We have never tried a Friday evening. It is not a “school night” so you could stay later to get more tutus done! If you would like to come before rush hour, I am happy to be home to accommodate your needs–just let me know. We could start at 2:00 pm and get a head start.
– Wednesday, March 7th, at 5:30 pm. I think we will have sushi! YUM!!!
– Thursday, March 29th, at 5:30 pm. This is the 5th Thursday of the month so it should not conflict with regularly scheduled events.
