Lunch afterwards at Racine’s, 650 N Sherman St, Denver (303-595-0418) is an option. Gamma Phi’s, family, and friends welcome! Bring NEW infant items (NB to 3 months). Please come join us as we support the team at Gates Camp in opening the camp and getting prepared for their summer camping season onSunday, May 19th. We plan on meeting at 10 a.m. and will wrap up around 2 p.m. We will be helping to open the kitchen and do whatever else is needed to get the camp ready, so there is something for everyone! All Gamma Phi Betas, friends, and family including guys are welcome. This is a great opportunity for students to earn school community service hours! Gates Camp for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is near Ward, Colorado (45 minutes from Boulder). We will have a potluck lunch. Kick off you Mother’s Day by volunteering to support Girls on the Run. We are looking for 4 – 7 more volunteers to support the finish line onSunday, May 12th. We will pass out bananas and waters to runners as they cross the finish line. Volunteers can start parking at 7 a.m. in the south and west lots of the high school. Sign in is at 8 a.m. at the volunteer tent. The race is from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Cherry Creek High School, 9300 E Union Ave., Greenwood Village. At this fun party, each attendee or couple will bring any bottle of Pinot Grigio wine in a paper bag to hide the label. We taste all the wines and vote to determine the best one. A prize will be awarded for the best wine! Appetizers will be provided. Join us on Saturday, February 23rd at 7 p.m. at Cheryl Haskell’s home, 1193 S Allison St, Lakewood (~Wadsworth and Mississippi). Cost: $15. All Gamma Phis, significant other, and friends are welcome! Maximum of 12 attendees. Funds raised will be split equally between Girls on the Run of the Rockies and Gates Camp for Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver. Join us for our annual spring cleaning work day at the Gates Camp for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver. Usually, we clean the kitchen and do other chores. The camp director has great tasks for the guys that attend (usually involving power tools).
