Summer “Hawaiian” Picnic – (RSVP now for our June 3rd picnic)

Celebrate summer at our Summer Picnic!
Sunday, June 3 from 4 – 6:30 p.m.
Eisenhower Park, 4300 E Dartmouth Ave, Denver (~I-25, Hampden to Colorado Blvd) Look for pink balloons at the end of Dartmouth Ave.
Call your sisters! Friends and family are welcome.
More: Bring a side dish to share. Store purchased food is fine. BYOB – 3.2 beer allowed (no glass). Jane is bringing burgers, boca burgers, hot dogs, and watermelon. Bring a chair. Wearing a Hawaiian shirt is great! Start practicing for the water balloon toss!

Theta Chapter Senior Celebration & DAC Officer Installation (University of Denver, Denver)

Spring Salad Luncheon – Flower arranging speaker

Celebrate Spring with our sisters!
Sara Tedford of Ladybird Poppy will be speaking on flower arranging fundamentals, spring flowers, and her business. (The Botanic Gardens speaker had to cancel due to a memorial service.)

Bring a salad to share (store bought salads are perfectly fine). There is always plenty of food. We would still love for you to attend, even if you cannot bring a salad!
Parking: Please DO NOT park in the Methodist Church parking lot as they have a memorial service.
– Per the church secretary, they talked to the city and street parking around the church is extended over the hour because of the service. You can also park at DU in Daniels Parking Lot located across the street, west of the church (not sure if there is a fee).
– Limited spaces in the alley behind University College just north of the Theta Chapter House.

My Favorite Things Holiday Tea

Celebrate the holidays with your sisters on Saturday, December 2nd from 1 – 5 p.m. (arrive and leave when you need to) at Leigh Ann Kudloff’s home, 620 Kendall Way, Lakewood (~6th & Sheridan). We will play some “reindeer games” and create holiday crafts to “deck the halls.”

Choose how you will participate at this free event:
– Think of something you love that costs less than $6.00 – Your Favorite Things! Bring three of that item. Leave with three new amazing things.
– Bring a favorite savory or sweet holiday treat (store bought items are fine).
– Wear a holiday sweater – tasteful, festive, tacky, or ugly. Win prizes in several sweater categories.
– Get creative by making an ornament to make your home sparkle, decorating a gingerbread house (win a prize for best house), making and tasting chocolate truffles (take some home), or assembling tutus for Girls on the Run.
– Donate crafting supplies for the campers at Gates Camp.
– Donate items for the Newborns in Need program for mothers in need that have a baby at Denver Health Medical Center. Items accepted are NEW: Disposable diapers (size NB, 1 or 2); Baby wipes; Baby wash, shampoo, lotion; Blankets; Clothing – Onesies, sleepers, outfits (Sizes NB to 6 months); Burp Cloths and Bibs; Newborn socks and booties; Nursing supplies (pads, cream, etc.); Books; Infant toys; Strollers; Convertible car seats; Cribs and crib sheets. Cash donations are used by Gamma Phi Gives LINKS group to purchase requested items.
