Mystery Wine Tasting Fundraiser-Feb.23

At this fun party, each attendee or couple will bring any bottle of Pinot Grigio wine in a paper bag to hide the label.  We taste all the wines and vote to determine the best one.  A prize will be awarded for the best wine!  Appetizers will be provided.  Join us on Saturday, February 23rd at 7 p.m. at Cheryl Haskell’s home, 1193 S Allison St, Lakewood (~Wadsworth and Mississippi).  Cost: $15.  All Gamma Phis, significant other, and friends are welcome!  Maximum of 12 attendees.  Funds raised will be split equally between Girls on the Run of the Rockies and Gates Camp for Boys and Girls Club of Metro Denver.  Hostesses: Cheryl Haskell, Peggy Hutchinson, and Leanne Thompson.  RSVP to Cheryl Haskell at or 303-507-6132.  Hope you can join us!

3rd Annual DAP Leadership Summit – March 9

DAP Leadership Summit of women speakers.  All proceeds benefit Scholarship Fund on Saturday, March 9 from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Margery Reed Reiman Theater, University of Denver, 2306 E Evans Ave, Denver.  Parking is easy at this location.  Advance tickets are $20 or $25 at the door with a light breakfast and lunch included.  Gamma Phi Beta is expected to sell 10 tickets.  Get tickets from Shelby McGirr at or 310-938-7678.

Diane Simard – One of “National Women in Business to Watch.”  An angel investor in emerging technology companiesand founded the Center for Oncology Psychology Excellence at DU as first specialty in the country to help train students how to work with cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.

Gayle Novak – Winner of the Senior Mrs. America 2018. Her philanthropy efforts have raised millions of dollars for local charities.

Trish Morris – President and CEO of Courageous Faces Foundation, the premier organization empowering people to embrace differences and see that all individuals are people first and foremost. She has taken ladies with special needs to be special princesses in the Miss Colorado Pageant.

Stacey  Bledsoe – President and Founder of HR Consultants of Denver with over 20 years of human resources expertise serving large companies. She has worked in all types and sizes of business including Fortune 500 to family-owned. She is a member of the Denver Area Chi Omega Alumnae group.

Laura Saye – Her work history combines careers in network television production, psychotherapy, and organization development. She is a living testament to the value of therapy, friendship, and the disciplined practice of cognitive-behavioral techniques. She is a life-long learner and looks to find ways to contribute to the greater community.
