Gamma Phi Gets Fit – Geocaching in Golden

Join us for geocaching on Saturday, April 1st at 10 a.m. to do “Spammer’s Walking Heads” at starting coordinates N 39° 45.384 W 105° 13.255 in Golden with ample parking. Using your phone and clues we will solve a multi-step, virtual puzzle cache with opportunities to learn about local history, enjoy sculpture, and see the oldest bar in Colorado, Buffalo Rose. Volunteers – Do you qualify for an award?

Have you helped an alumnae or collegiate chapter for 15 years? Or, International Gamma Phi Beta for 5-7 years? Service includes helping at recruitment, or planning an event, speaking at an event, being on House Board, Advisory Board, Alumnae Chapter Officer, Volunteer Leader, or more? Please send nominee suggestions (or nominate yourself) by March 28th to Leanne Thompson at lthompson_gpb@hotmail.com or 303-989-2762. Nominations are due April 1st. International Dues need to be paid for the year of service to count.
– Merit Roll – Minimum of 15 years of service at the local level
– Service Roll – Minimum of 15 years of service with a minimum of 5 years at the international level and 5 years or more of financial support
– Loyalty Award – Minimum of 7 years of international service and 7 years or more of financial support
Think back to any years of service and let me know if you qualify.  I look forward to nominating you!

Building Strong Girls – Tutu Making (Philanthropy)

Join us on Tuesday, March 28th from 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. (arrive and leave when you need to) to make 20 butterfly colored tutus at Leigh Ann’s home, 620 Kendall Way, Lakewood. No experience necessary as tulle is folded and wrapped around elastic band. Friends welcome. Tulle or monetary donations welcome. Light refreshments provided.
