Around Town – Glory of Venice: Masterworks of Renaissance – Date Change!

Join us for an afternoon of art on Saturday, February 4th at 3:00 p.m. to see “Glory of Venice: Masterworks of Renaissance” at the Denver Art Museum, 100 W 14th Ave Pkwy, Denver (720-865-5000). Experience 50 significant works reflecting the creativity of Venice from the around the 1500’s in a distinctly Venetian Renaissance style. This is a free day for the museum including this exhibit, so they said it is more crowded. Please RSVP by February 2nd to Leanne Thompson at or 303-989-2762.
Note: We are NOT going as a group to see “Star Wars and the Power of Costume,” but if you are interested in that exhibit, an advance reservation ticket is recommended. (We saw the exhibit when it opened and found it interesting.)  I hope you can join us!

Building Strong Girls – Tutu Making (Philanthropy)

Join us on Tuesday, January 31st from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. to make 20 “bunnies” (grey, silver, pink and white) tutus (arrive and leave when you need to) at Leigh Ann’s home, 620 Kendall Way, Lakewood. No experience necessary as tulle is folded and wrapped around elastic band. Friends welcome. Tulle or monetary donations welcome. Light refreshments provided. The following positions on the Executive Board are open for the term starting May, 2017.
– President
– Nominating Committee Member
– The Vice President position (records the minutes, maintains and distributes the membership directory) for the term that ends in May, 2018 is open.
– The following appointed positions are open:
– Nominating Committee Member: Assist the other committee members to prepare the slate of officers and other vacancies
– Membership VP Assistant: Welcome sisters to Denver by meeting for wine or coffee
– Alternate Panhellenic Delegate: Assist representing DAC at Denver Area Panhellenic meetings

Sisterhood Brunch & Yoga Program – RSVP?

Did you RSVP’s for the brunch this Saturday, January 28th from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm?  Dianne Hornbrook is hosting at 3874 S Hudson St, Denver (~I-25 & Hampden Ave).  If you wish, please bring a brunch item (egg dishes, salads/vegetables, pastries/breads, desserts) to share. Gamma Phi Gets Fit – Ice Skating at Skyline Park
