Around Town – Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium Tour

Join us on Saturday, October 24th, 10:00 am (arrive by 9:45 am to pay) for a “behind the scenes” glimpse into areas rarely seen by the public and some of the unique operations of one of the most state-of-the-art stadiums in North America.  Sports Authority Field; enter through the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame; 1701 Bryant St, Gate 1 (West Side), Denver; Park in lot C off Federal Blvd & east on 17th Ave (Dick Connor Ave) with no fee to park (720-258-3888).  Gamma Phis, friends, and family welcome!  Cost: Adults $20; Seniors (65+) $15; Children 6-12 $15; Children 5 and under free with an adult (maximum 2 per paying adults).  RSVP: Make reservations ASAP as maximum capacity for a tour is 25 guests.  Complete the online reservation request form at http://www.coloradosports.org/index.php/individual-family-tour-request or call 720-258-3888.  Completing the form does not mean you have a reservation until they contact you back by email or phone to confirm your reservation request.  Please contact Leanne at lthompson_gpb@hotmail.com or 303-989-2762 to let her know you are attending.  Tour is ~75-90 minutes and is ~ ½ mile. The entire tour route is fully ADA accessible. No wheelchairs/strollers are available to rent, but you may bring your own.  I hope you can join us!

Card Making for 75 year members

Come help DAC create the cards that will be sent to Gamma Phi Beta’s 75 year members across the country.  We have been asked by IH to create 170 cards.  We are meeting after 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 1st, Tuesday, October 6th, and probably, Wednesday, October 7th, at Leigh Ann’s home, 620 Kendall Way, (~6th Ave & Sheridan).  No experience is necessary.  We will use an assembly line method to fold, cut, tie ribbon, stamp, punch, etc.  We will provide all of the materials.  This is a great time to get to know your sisters in a fun, interactive, creative setting.  Light refreshments and wine will be provided.  RSVP if possible or if questions to  lkudloff@comcast.net or or 303-986-5073. Tau 100th Anniversary Silent Auction/Gift Bag request

Tau Recruitment (Colorado State University, Fort Collins) – Volunteers needed!
