The Collegiate-Alumnae Relations department is excited to announce a new program launching this Fall. It is called the Gamma Phi Mentorship Program, and we are looking for wonderful Alumnae women to help make this a success. The program focuses on the life long bond between sisters, allowing Collegiate sisters to explore their career interests through real world experience and guidance provided by our amazing Alumnae sisters working in varying fields.
How you can help:
We would LOVE your support by offering your time, experience and job information to a sister who connects with your field. If you are interested in mentoring a sister, the commitment can be what you make of it. 5 great ways you can connect with a Collegiate sister are:
1. Meet for coffee or lunch and share your experience in the field
2. Have a sister shadow for a day
3. Have a sister shadow once a week, or a more long-term collaboration
4. Create an internship for a sister
5. Mentor a sister by helping her navigate choices and opportunities within the field
Once you get paired, you will also get a more detailed outline of how to connect so it’s as stress-free as possible!
If you’re excited about joining the program or have more questions, please email Emily Duke at Emilyduke32@gmail.com with the following information:
Subject line: Gamma Phi Mentor
Personal info: Name, email, phone number
Job info: General field, job title, job description, job location, what type of lady you think would be a good fit to shadow you
